OTHER UPDATES

  • The Fulbright U.S. Student Program competition is OPEN for the 2009-2010 academic year. 

    The program awards approximately 1,450 grants annually for travel, study and research in over 140 countries worldwide.  U.S. students interested in applying for the Fulbright should contact Diana Cvitan at dcvitan@fdu.edu or 201-692-7161 as soon as possible.  Deadline for final submission of all application materials is October 20, 2008.  Further details are available at http://us.fulbrightonline.org

  • FDU to participate in the 61st Annual Conference for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Paris
    Date: Wednesday, September 3 to Friday, September 5 2008
    Location: Paris

    FDU is among the UN/DPI (Department of Public Information) accredited NGOs (Non Governmental Organizations) from around the world that are invited to attend the annual DPI/NGO conference which is being held in Paris for the first time. Fairleigh Dickinson will be represented by two of its Global Scholars: Jillian Cadet from the Metro Campus and Jackie Humen from the Campus at Florham.  They will be accompanied by Dr. Jo Anne Murphy who is responsible for coordinating United Nations Programs for the university.
